Observing the pride with which<br \/>\nBritish men regard their cars Sinclair opines<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Machines have clearly been at the heart of the construction<br \/>\nof traditional Enlgish masculinity<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Not to fall into absolut despair however, Sinclair notes that parallel with the decline of England as a manufacturing power, new<br \/>\nroles have emerged for men. It appears that English chefs now lead &quot;their<br \/>\nrivals in France and Italy as pioneer of fantastic English eating&quot;<br \/>\nwhile &quot;Organic farming and and premium foods are also enjoying<br \/>\nhuge popularity for some English men.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>chriscurnow.com is not a great fan of the &quot;poor lost men&quot;<br \/>\nphilosophy of the modern men&#8217;s movement, but this loss of identity has<br \/>\nhuge ramifications for the evolution of English society.
